Eye of Horus - Egypt Decor, which ancient Egyptians used the Eye of Horus as a symbol of protection, well-being, and restoration. Horus allegedly lost his left eye after a conflict with Seth, according to Egyptian folklore.
Hathor magically repaired the eye, and this healing act came to represent the act of being made whole.
This mystical masterpiece by Adel Ghabbour is a sign of strength, healing, and defense. The "Eye of Horus," also known as "Wedjat," or "the green one," was thought to possess magical abilities that could subdue evil. The sky god Horus had eyes that stood in for the sun and moon. The eye that Horus lost in the conflict with his evil uncle Seth is represented by the Wedjat eye. It was supposedly discovered by Horus' mother, Isis, then returned to him by the goddess Hathour.
The Egyptian god of the sky: Horus
Set is believed to have killed Horus' father, Osiris. Horus killed Set to avenge his father's death. In the fight, Horus’s left eye (representing the moon) was damaged—this being an explanation of the moon’s phases—and was healed by the god Thoth. The figure of the restored eye (the wedjat eye) became a powerful amulet of protection and knowing. Horus will aid you if you're engaged in some form of conflict. Seek his help in retaliation for wrongs done to you. He can also be petitioned for protection and to defend or restore order to a chaotic situation.
