King Ramses' Offerings, another representation of the murals found in the temples of Abu Simbel, is found in this magnificent artwork by Adel Ghabbour. Ramses II, the first ruler of the 19th dynasty, is depicted making his ritual offerings to the goddess Hathor by presenting her with lotus blossoms. In the temple complex of Abu Simbel, this tableau is etched on the walls of the temple of Hathor.
This beautiful artwork is part of our new Rough Edges series, which has a more authentically archaic look.
